Happy Holidays

We have just booked another holiday for next year...

The owners of the holiday homes we take care of are not going to be happy!

But it's been a long time since we've had a Summer holiday, so we will be camping in France for a couple of weeks & we're already excited!

We've also heard from our lovely friends who live in Switzerland & we're hoping to visit them for the Winter Solstice... 

Our not going abroad idea didn't last very long - time to update the passports!!!

    Which part of Switzerland do your friends live in. I've just come back from another few days in Lausanne, and the scenery is stunning, although I'm not so sure about being there in Winter.

    I understand you can see 3 countries if you stand on the right spot in Basel, but I think they have built a busy road on the spot, so it could be dangerous.

    The town looks lovely and I'm sure there are some splendid views in the vicinity.

Some of you know about my fight with Graves Disease, an auto immune system disorder, which causes an overactive thyroid. Since I was diagnosed 7 years ago, I have made it my business to know everything I possibly could about the condition & this has probably saved my life. Our Neighbours

The ladies next door have been giving birth in the field. Their babies are like any other babies - they sleep, they feed, they follow their mums everywhere, they run around, then fall asleep again.  These little beauties are completely unaware of their fate... But we know... And this is one thing which makes living here difficult. How can people eat other beings without feeling terrible?     It just doesn't make sense. Our garden yesterday.
