Stormy Weather In Charlestown

After hibernating yesterday, we had to venture out today to work & run various errands in St Austell.
The wind's been so bad we thought we'd check out Charlestown - home to the tall ships.

Apparently, they struggled with the north easterly we had yesterday - some sails were ripped, but today although we had a south easterly & the sea was rough, inside the harbour the boats were fine.

A photograph just doesn't show how blustery it it...

But it was enough to part Sime's beard...

And mess up my nice hair-do!

Night, night.

Kay :)

    1. Thanks Catherine - Those boats are often used in films. Johnny Depp filmed there a couple of years ago...

    1. Hi Jane, there's also a great shipwreck museum in Charlestown - which is fascinating.

    1. Thanks Pattypan - hahaha. Funny you should say that, some years ago Sime was registered with a film agency & they really wanted him to play a fisherman in a show called Doc Martin. Unfortunately, he couldn't do it...
