We've cleaned 8 properties since Tuesday...

Tomorrow we have 3 more & then we're having 4 days off - yippee!

Hope the sun will continue to shine for us...

Have a good weekend folks!

You both certainly get a lot of exercise with all of that cleaning! I often wish I had a more physical job. It would be refreshing!

dont forget to get your kaftan out of the dry cleaners LOL
What a busy time you’ve had! Hope you are having a lovely few days off and enjoying some wonderful weather.
Seeing the Minack Theatre brought back all kinds of memories for us. We love walking around Porthcurno and have passed the theatre many times but have never actually gone to a performance. Suzanne Vega is a blast from my past too. She’s great.
Sounds like you have a great community spirit. What a kind offer from the Vicar. Lovely to see you two enjoying yourself with the wine-French I noticed!
Congrats on those new jobs!

Hi Molly - Most of the time it's great, but it can be exhausting too!

Funnily enough we found 2 massive kaftans the other day at the big house we were cleaning, we thought perhaps Demis Roussos had been visting...

See you tomorrow!

Thanks Sft - Porthcurno is a stunning beach, we always think it looks really exotic...

We do have lots of lovely folks around us & the vicar is just a sweet woman who everyone loves!

Top Of The World

It's my lovely wife's 45th birthday today and it's great to see her having such a nice time.  We had a bit of a lie-in, then Kay said that she'd like to go to the new Eden Project Cafe in St. Austell for breakfast.
Having dined there recently, we were aware of their "Book Swap" area.  Choose a book from home you wish to donate, write a brief piece in the inside cover and put it in the Swap Section. Then, if there's a book you fancy, take it home. Kay donated her favourite book "The Complete SAS Guide to Interrogation Techniques". I made that up. She actually donated the wonderful book "The Tibetan Book Of Living and Dying" by Sogyal Rinpoche, only because the last page is missing. Just joking. It was in pristine condition . I suggested selling it at a car boot sale instead but  then she gave me one of her famous looks and I shut up. Kay wrote in the cover about how good the book is and how she hoped that whomever took it would find …

We'll have friends staying, so a candlelit meal will definitely be on the cards...

What do you have planned?

Lamledra

The sun was shining yesterday again, so after a fairly busy week - we decided to get out for a long walk. We walked into Gorran Haven & took the coastal path back home...
Gorran Haven Harbour. This part of the coastal path takes you around the Lamledra pennisula, which heads towards Vault beach...
Gorran Haven.
It was chilly, but warm in the sun...
Black clouds started coming over & we thought it was going to rain, but it stayed dry!
First sign of Spring...
Dodman Point ahead & the blue skies were back...
We made the most of the sunshine & stopped to eat...
With a lovely view of the beach...
Lamledra House. We used to clean it, but quit after a year - because we only had 3 hours & felt we just couldn't get everything done - it sleeps 20! The owners are lovely though, but their budget is tight with constant maintenance.  They do have some interesting guests there...
It got to 5pm & we still had a long way to go, so we left the path & took the road...
